Hello everyone...

KP09 was amazing, i really loved it... So many new things, wonderful people and fun larps... And now i want to bring our communities closer...

We have a discussion list in Brazil to discuss academic and educational stuff, but there are also some of the organizers of various Brazilian events, it is called RPG em Debate and people there accepted for you guys to post in English and the e-mails in english will be answered in english.

But those who are not academic feel free to ask questions about RPG in Brazil.

Reading the recent blog posts, i'm a bit lost... Things seem to be very very diferent from things here in Brazil... So anyone has any advices for newcomers? I'm going to the KP and the WiN...

My name is Wagner, i'm a psychologist with a master degree in education. I play table top roleplaying games for about 15 years, and larp for about ten years (only a few, two or three per year - even organized few ones). I'm also an academic and the RPGs are my research object (my dissertation was about the use of roleplaying games in education in Brazil - larp included).

Since i read some of the articles of the Beyond Role and Play i wanted to go to an knutpunkt event... And this year i finally managed to it...

I hope to meet other RPG researchers, make new friends, discover new ways to play RPGs and have a lot of fun =)
