1. *The Theme for KP09*
This years theme will be *colours*. We will use the theme in a variety of ways during the conference, to make it as colorful as possible. Here are a few examples of how the theme will be used:
1.1. *"The Colour Box"*
At this Knutepunkt we want to give the participants a chance to try a wide variety of games of different genres and from different roleplaying traditons. One of the things we are doing to facilitate this is creating a colour box in the bomb shelter in the cellar of the KP venue. The colour box will contain an easy to use light system. With this game organizers can create different moods and scenographic effects for their games. As the room is not very large, this space will be best suited for games whch doesn't have a large group of players (up to 15). The room is filling up with games, but if you have a game which you think could be well suited for the Colour BoxContact contact Tor Kjetil (torkjetil@gmail.com) to check if there is still room in the programme!
1.2. *The Party*
The theme for this years party will, of course, be "Show your true colours!" We invite everyone to dress up as your favourite color, in any way you want.
A new twist of the year is that the party will take place on Friday 17th, rather than later in the event.
2. *Practical information*
2.1. *Allergies and special needs*
We need those of you with allergies intolerances, or other food related needs to provide us with that information. We should be able to handle most needs, but we need to know about them up front.
Please provide us the appropriate information by sending it in an email to knutepunkt@laiv.org with "KP09 - Food intolerances" as subject.
2.2. *Buses*
We are providing buses from Oslo center and from Oslo Airport Gardermoen on Thursday afternoon, and back again on Sunday.
Bus times are currently planned as follows:
* 2 buses leave from Oslo Center (exact location to be specified later) 16/4 at 15:00
* 1 bus leave from Oslo Airport Gardermoen 16/4 at 15:00
* 1 bus leave from Oslo Airport Gardermoen 16/4 at 16:30
All buses leave from Haraldvangen 19/4 at 13:00
3. *Programme information*
3.1. *Signing Up for Programme Items*
At this year's Knutepunkt it will be possible to sign up in advance for programme items. Everyone who has signed up for Knutepunkt will receive an email when the sign up opens. The different programme items will have different numbers of maximum participant depending on the room and capacity as indicated by the programme facilitator. At Knutepunkt itself there will be a wall displaying the entire programme where you can manually change which programme items to participate in. For those who participated in Höjdpunkt or Prolog in Sweden during the last year, this system will be familiar.
3.2. *Programme start and end*
The Programme will begin on Thursday 16th at 18:00 with the opening ceremony.
The last Programme item will be held on Sunday 19th at 12:30
